The Valdosta-Lowndes Metropolitan Planning Organization (VLMPO) is the federally designated transportation planning organization for the Valdosta urbanized area, consisting of all of Lowndes County and the cities within it, as well as portions of Berrien, Brooks, and Lanier Counties.
